What it is
The Ariston 569433 is a fan seal used on the fan assembly of Ariston DIA and SX gas boilers. It seals the joint between the fan and its mounting or flue connection, preventing leakage of flue products into the appliance casing. The seal is a service item and is replaced when the original has hardened, split or lost its sealing properties.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Visible splitting, cracking or hardening of the seal material
- Flue gas smell or combustion readings drifting outside expected limits
- Whistling or draught at the fan housing joint
- Seal flattened or deformed so it no longer sits proud of the joint face
- Seal damaged or disturbed during fan removal or servicing
Before you order
- Confirm the boiler model against the fit list above
- Check the existing seal for the part number or match the profile before removal
- Inspect the fan housing and joint face for damage that could prevent a correct seal
- Replace the seal whenever the fan is removed, as refitting a used seal is not advised
