What it is

The PRESSURE SWITCH is a Valor boiler spare, listed under the Valor Group spare parts range. It monitors pressure conditions within the appliance and signals the control circuit accordingly. It is used across a number of Valor Powerflue and Turbochim models.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The appliance fails to fire or shuts down shortly after ignition.
  • Fan or flue proving faults appear, with the boiler locking out on start-up.
  • Intermittent lockouts that clear on reset but return.
  • The switch does not change state when pressure is applied at the sensing point.
  • Visible damage, contamination or a blocked sensing connection at the switch.
