The Ariston 564632 is an ignition electrode for Ariston gas boilers. It is supplied as a pilot electrode and provides the spark that lights the pilot burner during the ignition sequence. It is listed for the Ariston STYX SX 20 M and STYX SX 20 MFF boiler models built from serial number 92010000 onwards.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The boiler fails to light, with no spark at the pilot burner during the ignition sequence.
  • The boiler repeatedly goes to lockout or a flame-failure fault after a call for heat.
  • The electrode tip is visibly cracked, eroded, distorted or heavily sooted.
  • The ceramic insulator is cracked or the electrode body shows signs of arcing tracking.
