The Vokera 5640 is a spark electrode supplied complete with its lead. It forms part of the ignition circuit on a range of Vokera gas boilers, delivering the spark that lights the burner at start-up. The electrode is listed under electrodes within gas boiler spares.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Boiler fails to ignite, with no spark at the burner
  • Repeated lockout on start-up despite gas and power being present
  • Visible cracking, crazing or heavy carbon build-up on the electrode tip
