What it is
The LPB clip-in communication relay kit is a Hamworthy control component used on Modumax and Purwell Variheat floor standing boiler ranges. It provides the cascade control relay function, allowing the boilers in a linked installation to communicate with one another. The kit is supplied as a clip-in assembly that includes a cable.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Boilers in the cascade sequence fail to communicate with each other
- Cascade operation is lost while individual boilers still run on their own controls
- Intermittent or repeated communication faults across a linked installation
- No cascade demand being registered despite boilers being powered and otherwise operational
Before you order
- Confirm the boiler model against the fit list above before ordering
- Check the existing relay position and connector on the appliance control board
- Verify the fault is at the communication relay rather than the wiring or boiler controls
- Have the appliance model and part number 563901371 to hand when ordering
