What it is
The Hamworthy ST300 Pressure Temperature Relief Valve Kit is a safety valve assembly intended for use on Hamworthy ST300 boilers. It combines pressure relief and temperature relief functions in a single valve kit, opening to discharge water if system pressure or stored water temperature rises beyond the valve's setting. It is listed as a Hamworthy boiler spare part under part number 563605500.
Before you order
- Confirm part number 563605500 against the boiler's own documentation or data plate before ordering.
- Check that the valve is being fitted to a Hamworthy ST300, as the kit is designated for that model.
- Verify the pressure and temperature ratings required by the installation against the markings on the valve supplied, since ratings are not stated in the catalogue data.
- Allow for the system to be drained and, where applicable, for the cylinder or boiler to be depressurised before fitting.
