What it is
The Hamworthy Routine Gasket Kit – Gas Side Only is a service kit of gas-side gaskets for Hamworthy Purwell Variheat floor-standing boilers. It is intended to provide the gaskets required to reseal gas-side joints when those components are disturbed during routine servicing.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Gaskets that have hardened, flattened or cracked at gas-side joints
- Gaskets that crumble or break up when gas-side components are dismantled for service
- Soot traces or staining around gas-path joints
- Reassembly of gas-side components after servicing, where the existing gaskets cannot be reused
Before you order
- Check the boiler model against the fits list above
- Confirm that the work in hand needs gas-side gaskets only, as this kit does not cover other gasket positions
- Check whether any other gasket or seal kit is required for the same service
- Have the appliance data plate details to hand before ordering
