What it is

The Valor fan unit is a replacement fan assembly for the Ultimate TC Powerflue. It provides the forced-draught function on these appliances. This version is specified for appliances whose serial number carries the suffix letter C onwards.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The fan runs noisily, with a grinding or rumbling note from the bearing
  • The boiler fails to fire or locks out and the fan is suspected of not proving airflow
  • The fan does not turn, or turns only intermittently, when the appliance starts
  • The appliance cuts out during operation as flue gases are not being cleared
  • The fan motor overheats or trips repeatedly
