The Altecnic Dirtcal is a dirt separator for heating and plumbing systems, used to capture circulating debris such as magnetite and sludge before it reaches the boiler and other components. This version is DN65 with a PN16 pressure rating and flanged connections, and is supplied with insulation. It forms part of Altecnic's dirt and air separation range.

• Sludge or magnetite is no longer being captured effectively, with debris carrying through to the boiler or heat exchanger.
• Radiators or circuits show cold spots and uneven heat distribution despite the system being balanced.
• The separator requires frequent draining, or the drain point continually discharges heavy debris.
• Circulation problems or increased pump noise suggest the separator is blocked or bypassing.
• Weeping, corrosion or damage at the flanged connections or body.

• Confirm the pipework is DN65 and that the flange drilling and dimensions match the existing installation.
• Check the system pressure rating is compatible with a PN16 component.
