What it is
The Altecnic Dirtmag IQ is a magnetic dirt separator for heating and system protection. This version is the horizontal configuration with 2" female x female screwed iron connections, supplied under part number 546309. It removes magnetic and non-magnetic debris from the circulating water before it reaches the boiler and other system components.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Sludge or magnetite is no longer being captured, with debris passing through to the boiler
