What it is

The Buderus clean-out cover for the rear section is the access plate that closes the cleaning opening on the rear section of the appliance. It is supplied under Buderus part number 5371905 and is intended for G315 and Ge315 105-230 kW boilers. The cover seals the clean-out aperture once the rear section has been cleaned and inspected.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The cover no longer seats correctly on the rear section opening and cannot be made to seal.
  • Corrosion, pitting, cracking or distortion across the cover plate.
  • Soot, staining or condensate traces around the clean-out opening after servicing.
  • The cover has been removed and refitted repeatedly and the sealing face is visibly deteriorated.
