Altecnic 535 28mm Manifold 6 Bar PRV 8 Bar SRV

The Altecnic 535 is a 28mm unvented control valve manifold fitted with a 6 bar pressure reducing valve and an 8 bar safety relief valve. It forms part of an unvented cylinder control arrangement, regulating incoming mains pressure and providing a pressure relief path should the set limit be exceeded. It is supplied under part reference 535105H CST.

• Pressure at the outlet side of the reducing valve creeping above the set figure, or fluctuating noticeably with draw-off
• Water discharging from the safety relief valve or tundish during normal heating cycles
• The reducing valve failing to hold a steady outlet pressure, leading to noisy or erratic tap and shower performance
• Visible scale build-up, corrosion or leaking around the manifold body or valve heads
• Loss of pressure control following a period of high mains pressure or hard water operation

• Confirm the pipework is 28mm and that the existing manifold is an Altecnic unvented control valve assembly
• Check the required reducing valve setting is 6 bar and the relief valve setting is 8 bar for the installation
• Verify the part reference 535105H CST against the existing unit or cylinder documentation
• Ensure the installation is commissioned by a competent person in line with unvented cylinder requirements
