Altecnic Pressure Reducing Valve 15mm Compression w/ Port Only

The Altecnic 15mm Compression Pressure Reducing Valve with port only is a plumbing control valve used to regulate and hold down the incoming water pressure on a heating or domestic water system. It forms part of the Altecnic pressure reducing valve range and is fitted where a stable, reduced outlet pressure is required downstream of the mains supply. The valve body carries 15mm compression connections, with the port supplied only as specified.

• Outlet pressure no longer holds steady and rises or falls without any adjustment being made
• Water escapes from the valve body, bonnet or compression joints
• Noise or vibration through the pipework, such as water hammer, when a tap or outlet is opened
• Pressure downstream of the valve is noticeably higher than the set value, or drops away under normal draw-off
• The valve no longer responds to adjustment and the set pressure cannot be achieved

• Confirm the pipework is 15mm and that compression connections are suitable for the installation
• Check the existing valve for its set pressure and confirm the required outlet pressure for the system
