What it is

The Hamworthy 532511082 is a 100mm diameter flue elbow with a 6 bolt mounting, used to route the flue path on Purwell Variheat PV series floor standing boilers. It forms part of the flue system on appliances built from serial number 0065 onwards. The elbow connects flue sections at an angle, directing combustion products away from the appliance.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Visible corrosion, pitting or perforation on the elbow body
  • Condensate weeping or staining at the elbow joints or bolt fixings
  • Flue gas odour or leakage detected around the elbow
  • Loose, seized or missing mounting bolts
  • Physical damage or distortion to the elbow from impact or movement

Before you order

  • Confirm the appliance model is a Purwell Variheat PVHE floor standing unit
  • Check the appliance serial number is 0065 or later
  • Verify the flue diameter required is 100mm
  • Inspect the existing 6 bolt mounting arrangement before fitting
