What it is
The right-hand side cheek is a Valor component supplied within the Valor group spare parts range. It forms the right-hand side section of the appliance casing, sitting alongside the fire front to close off and finish the installation. It is listed for use with the Valor Dream Inset.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Cracks, splits or crazing in the cheek panel
- Distortion or warping that prevents the cheek sitting flush against the fire front
- Corrosion or damage around the fixing points
- Impact damage or a broken section of the panel
- Finish deterioration that leaves the panel visibly different from the opposite side
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance is a Valor Dream Inset model 617
- Check that the right-hand side is the one required, as left and right are separate parts
- Note the part number 518849 against the number on any existing component or documentation
- Inspect the opposite cheek and fixings at the same time in case they also need attention
