What it is

The Sime 5185130 is a conversion kit that allows compatible Sime gas boilers to be converted to run on LPG. It is a manufacturer-supplied kit for the Sime appliance families listed below. Conversion must be carried out by a competent, Gas Safe registered engineer in line with the manufacturer's instructions.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The boiler is to be run on LPG but is still set up for natural gas.
  • Combustion readings or flame characteristics are incorrect for the fuel supply in use.
  • The existing conversion components are missing, damaged or incomplete.
  • The appliance has been moved to a property with an LPG supply and requires re-commissioning for that fuel.

Before you order

  • Confirm the boiler model and part number against the manufacturer's parts list for your appliance.
  • Check the appliance is listed as compatible with this conversion kit before ordering.
  • Verify the fuel supply type at the installation and that conversion is permitted for the appliance.
  • Arrange fitting and commissioning by a Gas Safe registered engineer.
