What it is

The front panel is the outer casing component supplied for Potterton Commercial Sirius 2 and Sirius 3 boilers, listed under part number 5142491. It forms the visible front face of the appliance, closing off the casing and protecting the internal components beneath. This item is supplied as a complete unit.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Visible dents, deformation or impact damage to the panel face
  • Corrosion, rust staining or blistering paint on the panel surface
  • The panel no longer sits correctly against the casing or will not locate on its fixings
  • Damaged or seized fixings that prevent the panel from being secured properly

Before you order

  • Confirm the appliance is a Potterton Commercial Sirius 2 or Sirius 3 in the FS50 or FS70 variant
  • Check the existing panel and any rating plate details against part number 5142491
  • Inspect the casing fixings and mounting points for damage before fitting a new panel
  • Verify the model reference on the appliance data badge, as casing parts differ between ranges
