What it is
The Thermofuse Heat Exchanger Cable is a Potterton Commercial spare lead for the heat exchanger thermofuse circuit on Sirius 2 boilers. It carries the thermofuse signal from the heat exchanger to the boiler control, allowing the appliance to shut down safely if the thermofuse opens. It is a direct electrical component of the boiler's overheat protection chain.
