What it is
The Potterton power supply PCB/clip-in AGU2.550 wiring board is the mains power supply printed circuit board used in Potterton Commercial Sirius 2 and Sirius 3 boiler ranges. It converts and regulates the incoming supply to feed the appliance's control and ignition circuits. The board is a clip-in fitment, secured by the moulded clips rather than screw fixings.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The boiler is completely dead, with no display or status indication when power is present at the isolator.
- The control board receives no low-voltage supply, so the appliance will not start an ignition sequence.
- Repeated fuse failures on the supply side of the board.
- Visible damage or discolouration to the board, such as burnt tracks, scorched components or bulged capacitors.
