What it is

This is the COMPLETE SIDE PANEL - LEFT - (7 SECTION), a casing component supplied by Potterton for Potterton Commercial NXR3i boilers. It forms the left-hand outer casing of the appliance on the 7 section build, enclosing the boiler shell and heat exchanger assembly. It is listed as a casing spare within the Potterton Commercial spares range.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Visible corrosion, rust staining or breakdown of the panel coating
  • Impact damage, dents or deformation across the panel face
  • Distortion that prevents the panel sitting correctly against the boiler frame
  • Damaged or seized securing points that stop the panel being refitted properly
  • Previous removal leaving the panel buckled or unable to seal against adjacent casing parts

Before you order

  • Confirm the boiler model is a Potterton Commercial NXR3i
  • Check the section count of the installed boiler, as this panel is for the 7 section build
  • Verify the panel required is the left-hand side
  • Compare the existing part number 5140698 against the panel being removed
