Altecnic Safety Relief Valve 1 x 1 1/4F/F 7 bar

The Altecnic Safety Relief Valve is a pressure-relief device rated at 7 bar, fitted with 1 in and 1 1/4 in female threaded connections (1 x 1 1/4F/F). It is used on boiler and pressure-relief applications to discharge water when system pressure exceeds the set rating, protecting the appliance and pipework from over-pressurisation.

• Water discharging from the relief valve outlet when system pressure is within normal operating range.
• The valve fails to discharge during a pressure test or when the system is deliberately over-pressurised.
• Visible scale, corrosion or debris around the valve seat or outlet.
• Dripping or weeping from the valve body or connections that does not stop after the system has settled.
• The valve has been manually operated and does not reseat, leaving a continuous leak.

• Confirm the required set pressure matches the system design, as this valve is rated at 7 bar.
• Check the thread sizes on the existing valve and the connecting pipework are 1 in and 1 1/4 in female.
• Verify the valve is compatible with the appliance or Altecnic PRV assembly it is being fitted to.
• Check the discharge pipework and termination are suitable for the relief valve outlet before installation.
