The Altecnic 1 x 1 1/4F/F 6 bar Safety Relief Valve is a pressure-relief device intended for boiler and pressure-reducing valve installations. It opens at its 6 bar set pressure to discharge excess system pressure and protect the appliance and downstream components. The valve is supplied with female connections at both the inlet and outlet, given as 1 in x 1 1/4 in.

• Water discharging from the valve tundish or discharge pipe when the system is at normal operating pressure
• The valve weeping or passing continuously, particularly when the system is cold
• System pressure failing to hold, with repeated topping up required
• Visible scale, debris or corrosion around the valve seat or outlet
• The valve failing to reseat after a pressure release event
