What it is
The Heatrae Sadia Isolation Valve 3/4" BSP Male/Male (Red) is a service valve used to isolate the water connection on Heatrae Sadia HI-MAX Store unvented hot water cylinders. It has a 3/4" BSP male thread at each end, allowing it to sit inline between the cylinder connection and the pipework. The valve is supplied in red.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The valve body or spindle is weeping when in the open position
- The handle turns but does not shut off the flow of water
- Visible corrosion or scale build-up around the threaded connections
- The valve will not operate freely, making isolation of the cylinder difficult
