What it is
The front panel outercase is the outer casing panel that forms the front face of the appliance, manufactured by Main. It fits a range of Main and Potterton gas boilers, including HE, HEAT ErP, Promax SL and Gold models. The panel encloses the front of the boiler, protecting internal components and completing the appliance's outer case.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Visible dents, cracks or deformation in the front panel
- Corrosion or rust along the panel edges or fixing points
- Panel no longer seats correctly against the boiler casing
- Securing screws will not hold or the fixings have pulled through
- Cosmetic damage that leaves the outer case incomplete
Before you order
- Confirm your boiler model against the fitment list above
- Check the serial number prefix and suffix where a serial range is stated
- Verify the appliance GC number matches your boiler's data badge
- Inspect the existing panel and fixings before ordering

Fitment listings are a guide, not a guarantee. Plant-room assemblies get modified on site more often than not. Send us the GC number off the data badge and a photo of the existing valve and we will confirm before anything is dispatched.
