What it is
This is Potterton's condensate pump assembly, fitted downstream of the primary heat exchanger. It pumps the acidic condensate produced by the condensing boiler safely away to the drain.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Boiler locks out on a condensate fault
- Water pooling or leaking near the boiler's condensate outlet
- Pump runs continuously or fails to run at all
- Gurgling or unusual noise from the condensate pump
