What it is

The Baxi 5115501 is a 24VDC fan assembly supplied with a soft mounting arrangement, used on Baxi Combi 130HE appliances. It draws fresh air into the combustion chamber so the gas can be burnt correctly, then extracts the flue gases once combustion is complete. The appliance's safety controls monitor the fan as part of the combustion sequence, so a fan that stalls or runs out of tolerance will stop the boiler firing.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Boiler locks out or refuses to fire, with a fan or air pressure fault indicated
  • Fan runs noisily, with rumbling, scraping or whining from worn bearings
  • Fan does not spin at start-up, or starts and stops intermittently
  • Repeated ignition failure or flame loss shortly after lighting
  • Overheat or flue-related faults traced back to poor air movement through the appliance

Before you order

  • Check the GC number and the appliance data plate to confirm the fan suits your Combi 130HE.
  • Cross-reference the alternative number 1118196 and the previous number 246557 against the fan being removed.
  • This part is fitted to a gas appliance; installation must be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer.
