What it is

The Baxi 5112743 is the front panel for the combustion box on Baxi Combi 80 series appliances. It forms the removable face of the combustion chamber, closing off the burner enclosure so that combustion products are contained and directed into the flue path. The panel is a serviceable item and is supplied by Baxi for the Combi 80 Eco and the other combi models listed below.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Corrosion, rust staining or flaking on the panel face or along its edges.
  • Heat discolouration, warping or distortion of the panel after prolonged service.
  • Cracks, splits or perforation that break the seal around the combustion box.
  • Soot deposits or blackening at the panel joint, suggesting combustion products are escaping.
  • The panel no longer sits flat or its fixings will not hold it securely against the combustion box.

Before you order

  • Confirm the appliance model and GC number against the compatibility list; this panel is listed for 11 Baxi combi variants.
  • Older appliances may carry the previous part numbers 248026 or 5112730 on the panel currently fitted.
  • This part is fitted to a gas appliance; installation must be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer.
