What it is

The Main 5112332 is a short connection kit used on Main and Potterton gas boiler installations. It forms part of the pipework connection arrangement at the appliance, allowing the boiler to be joined to the system pipework. It is supplied as a short-pattern kit rather than the longer variant.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Weeping or visible water at the boiler connection joint
  • Corrosion or scale build-up on the connection body or sealing faces
  • Staining or damp patches beneath the appliance connection
  • A joint that will not seal after re-making, or shows signs of distortion
  • Damage to the connection during servicing or pipework alteration

Before you order

  • Confirm your appliance model against the fit list above
  • Check the GC number on the appliance data badge against your model listing
  • Establish whether the short or long connection kit is required for your installation
  • Inspect the existing connection for damage before ordering
