What it is
The outer case is the external casing panel supplied by Main for the Multipoint FF range of water heaters. It encloses the appliance's internal components and forms the visible front of the unit once fitted. Part number 5111368 is listed under casings in the water heater spares range.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Visible corrosion, rust staining or blistering of the casing surface
- Dents, cracks or deformation that prevent the case sitting square on the appliance
- Damaged or missing fixing points, lugs or screw holes on the panel
- Water tracking or staining behind the case suggesting the enclosure is no longer sealing correctly
- Impact damage from the case being dropped or struck during servicing
Before you order
- Check the appliance data badge and confirm the model is a Main Multipoint FF or Multipoint FF ErP
- Confirm the existing part number is 5111368 before ordering
- Inspect the rest of the casing assembly for damage that may also need attention
- Verify the case is the correct item for your appliance variant, as the FF and FF ErP are listed separately
