What it is

This is a pilot pipe assembly manufactured by Valor, supplied under part number 5111144. It forms part of the pilot burner arrangement on Valor gas appliances, carrying gas to the pilot injector so the pilot flame can be established and maintained. It is listed within Valor's fire spares range.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The pilot flame fails to light or will not stay lit once the burner is released.
  • A weak, yellow or unstable pilot flame that will not hold a steady blue cone.
  • Visible cracks, kinks, crushing or corrosion along the pilot pipe run.
  • Soot or discolouration around the pilot pipe joints or injector connection.
  • A smell of gas at the pilot pipe connections when the appliance is in use.

Before you order

  • Confirm the appliance model number against the fitment list above before ordering.
  • Check the existing pilot pipe routing and connections so the replacement matches the installed arrangement.
  • Verify the part number 5111144 on the existing component or the manufacturer's parts list.
  • Gas work must be carried out by a competent, registered engineer.
