What it is

A 1/2 inch washer supplied by Main for use on Multipoint water heaters. It forms a sealing face at the joint it is fitted to, preventing water loss under pressure. This is a service part for the Main Multipoint BF and FF ranges.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Water weeping or dripping from the joint the washer seals
  • The washer has hardened, cracked or flattened and no longer seals
  • Scale or corrosion deposits visible on or around the washer
  • A joint that continues to leak after being tightened
  • Discolouration or staining on the surrounding pipework or casing
