What it is
The INJECTOR CAT 82 SIZE 074 is a gas injector manufactured by Valor for use in Valor gas fires. It meters and directs the gas flow into the burner to produce the correct flame picture and heat output. The injector is a serviceable burner component and is matched to the appliance and gas type it is fitted to.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Flame burns yellow or lifts away from the burner instead of forming a steady blue flame
- Sooting or blackening on the coals, ceramics or fire box surfaces
- Appliance is difficult to light or fails to stay lit
