What it is

The Huba pressure sensor (part number 5107764) is a pressure transmitter used on Potterton Powermax HE condensing boilers. It monitors system pressure and signals the boiler control to support safe operation and fault detection. This version applies to HE115 litre units up to serial number 5106348 03 10 006 and up to serial number 5106350 03 10 001.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Boiler locks out or shuts down with a pressure-related fault
  • System pressure reading on the boiler display is inaccurate or erratic
  • Pressure reading stays fixed or fails to respond to filling or draining
  • Water weeping from the sensor body or its connection

Before you order

  • Confirm the boiler model is a Potterton Powermax HE85, HE115 or HE150
  • Check the appliance serial number against the limits shown above, as later builds use a different sensor
  • Inspect the existing sensor and its wiring connection before ordering
  • Confirm the part number 5107764 matches the component being replaced
