What it is
This is the outer casing cover for the Vaillant Atmocraft VK 1304/9 gas boiler, supplied under part number 509573. It forms the 130 kW appliance's outer panel, enclosing the boiler's internal components and combustion-related assemblies. The cover is a structural casing component rather than a functional hydraulic or electrical part.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Visible cracking, splitting or deformation of the cover panel
- Corrosion or rust perforation along the panel edges or fixing points
- Impact damage or dents that prevent the cover seating correctly
- Distortion causing the panel to foul adjacent components or fail to sit flush
- Heat discolouration or blistering of the panel surface
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance model and variant against the manufacturer's parts list before ordering
- Check the existing cover for the part number marking to verify the match
- Inspect the panel fixings and any seals separately, as these are not confirmed as part of this item
- Verify the appliance output rating, as this cover is specified for the 130 kW variant
