What it is
The Vaillant 509568 is a complete cover (casing panel) for the Atmocraft VK 654/9 gas boiler. It forms part of the appliance casing, enclosing the boiler's internal components and restoring the outer shell. The 65 kW reference identifies the output rating of the appliance it is intended for.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Visible corrosion, rust staining or blistering of the panel surface
- Cracks, splits or deformation in the casing cover
- Distorted or elongated screw holes, or fixings that no longer hold the panel securely
- Heat discolouration or flaking finish on the cover
- The cover no longer seats correctly against the boiler casing
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance model on the data plate is Atmocraft VK 654/9
- Check the existing cover's part number against 509568 before ordering
- Inspect the retaining fixings and any seals around the casing, as these may also need attention
- Verify the boiler's output rating matches the 65 kW reference for this cover
