What it is
The Buderus top left-hand rail is a 1790 mm long sectional boiler rail used on Buderus G515 and Ge515 appliances. It is supplied for 10-section boiler builds and holds the left-hand side of the boiler sections in line at the top of the block.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Visible corrosion, thinning or cracking along the length of the existing rail
- Boiler sections out of line at the top left-hand side of the block
- Weeping or staining at the upper section joints on the left-hand side
- A rail that has worked loose, bent or no longer sits correctly against the sections
- Rail holes or fixings elongated or damaged so the rail cannot be tightened down

- Confirm the appliance is a Buderus G515 or Ge515 and check the model plate
- Count the boiler sections to confirm the build is 10 sections
- Check that the failed item is the top left-hand rail and not the corresponding right-hand rail or a lower rail
- Compare the existing rail length and hole positions against the 1790 mm length stated before ordering
