What it is

The Ravenheat 5027025 is a main switch used on Ravenheat RSF series gas boilers. It provides the manual power control for the appliance, switching the boiler supply on and off at the control panel. It is a serviceable electrical component within the boiler's switch range.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The boiler does not power up when the switch is operated
  • The switch feels loose, does not latch, or fails to hold position
  • Power to the boiler cuts in and out intermittently when the switch is touched
  • Visible scorching, discolouration or burning at the switch body or terminals
  • No continuity across the switch terminals when it is in the on position

Before you order

  • Confirm the boiler model and GC number from the appliance data plate against the fit list above
  • Check the existing switch's terminal arrangement and mounting match the part being ordered
  • Isolate the electrical supply to the boiler before removing or fitting the switch
  • Inspect the wiring and connections for damage that may have contributed to the switch failure
