What it is
The Ravenheat internal fuse, part number 5021103, is a small protective fuse fitted inside the appliance casing of Ravenheat gas boilers. It protects the boiler's internal electrical circuit by breaking the supply if the current drawn exceeds the fuse rating. It is listed for the CSI, CSI System, HE and Little STAR appliance families.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The boiler is completely dead, with no display, fan or pump activity on a call for heat.
- The fuse has visibly blown, with a blackened glass body or a broken element.
- Power to the boiler controls is intermittent or drops out without warning.
- A replacement fuse blows again immediately after fitting.
- Signs of overheating, discolouration or arcing around the fuse holder.
