What it is
The Ravenheat 5015015/N is an automatic air vent purge valve supplied in the newer pattern. It sits at a high point in the boiler's water circuit and continuously releases trapped air from the system, allowing the appliance to run without air locks forming in the heat exchanger or pump. It is a direct replacement for the earlier 5015015N valve and is used across the Ravenheat CSi 85 and CSi 85A condensing boiler family.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Water weeping or dripping from the vent body, leaving staining or scale on the boiler casing
- Air continuing to collect in the system after bleeding, with radiators cold at the top
- Kettling, gurgling or rushing noises from the boiler during heat-up
- Repeated overheat or lockout faults caused by air trapped around the heat exchanger
- Visible corrosion, crusting or a blocked vent cap on the valve

- Confirm the valve currently fitted carries the previous number 5015015N or the alternative number 1841103 before ordering.
- Inspect the sealing washer or O-ring at the valve connection and renew it if it is compressed or perished.
