What it is
The Potterton 5000857 is a fan inlet gasket used on Suprima gas boilers. It seals the joint between the fan inlet and the surrounding flue or air path components, preventing leakage of combustion air or flue gases at that connection. The gasket is a consumable sealing component and is normally renewed whenever the fan or the inlet joint is disturbed.
