What it is
The Vokera 4640 is a complete gas valve rated for 220/240V operation, manufactured by Vokera for use across its combi and flowmatic boiler ranges. It controls the flow of gas to the burner in response to demand from the boiler's control system. The valve is supplied as a complete assembly.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Boiler fails to ignite or locks out repeatedly
- Flame drops out during operation or will not modulate correctly
- No gas pressure at the burner despite a call for heat
- Visible damage, corrosion or gas odour around the valve body
- Fault code or diagnostic indication pointing to the gas valve

- Confirm your boiler model and serial number against the fitment list, as some Excell 80SP variants are serial-number dependent.
- Check that the voltage and part number on the existing valve match 220/240V and 4640.
