What it is
The Vokera 4250 is a screw-fit safety relief valve used in Vokera gas boilers. It is a Caleffi 512 type valve that opens to discharge water when system pressure exceeds safe limits, protecting the boiler and connected components. It is a serviceable spare for older Vokera appliance families.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Water weeping or dripping from the discharge pipe when the system is not over-pressurised
- System pressure rising above the normal operating range
- Valve failing to reseat after discharging
- Scale or debris preventing the valve from sealing
- Boiler losing pressure or discharging water repeatedly
