What it is

This is a safety valve manufactured by Ariston for use in its Eureka and Doccia Eureka appliance families. The valve provides pressure relief protection within the boiler or water heater, opening to discharge excess pressure before it reaches a level that could damage the appliance or pipework.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Water continually discharging from the valve outlet when the appliance is running normally.
  • Pressure reading drifting above the normal operating range without the valve relieving it.
  • The valve leaking or weeping at the outlet with the system cold.
  • The valve failing to reseat and continuing to drip after it has operated.
  • Visible scale, corrosion or debris around the valve seat or outlet.

Before you order

  • Confirm the appliance model from the rating plate against the fitment list above.
  • On Eureka 2000 WT / WC units, check the serial number is 4120245 or later.
  • Check the existing valve's connection arrangement matches before removal to avoid unnecessary downtime.
