What it is
The Vokera 4026 is a 3/4 inch BSP locknut used on Vokera gas boilers. It forms part of the pipework and hydraulic connections, locking a fitting or union in position on the threaded joint. It is listed under screws, nuts, bolts and clips in the Vokera boiler spares range.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Weeping or dripping at the threaded joint the locknut secures
- The locknut has worked loose and will not hold the fitting tight
- Visible corrosion or scale build-up on the nut
- Rounded or damaged flats from previous spanner work
- Crossed or damaged threads preventing a clean, tight fit
