What it is
The ICI Caldaie 40000405 is a threaded adaptor with a 1/2 connection at one end and a 3/8 connection at the other. It is listed within the ICI Caldaie gas boiler spares range and is used to join or transition between the two stated thread sizes on the appliance or its associated pipework.
Before you order
- Confirm the two stated connection sizes, 1/2 and 3/8, match the ports or pipework the adaptor is to join.
- Where the adaptor is being replaced, compare the part number on the existing component with 40000405.
- Check the sealing requirements of the joint being made, as adaptor connections may need a sealing washer or thread sealant in addition to the fitting itself.
