What it is
The Ferroli C/H Valve (part 39840730) is a diverter valve for Ferroli gas boilers in the Domicondens, Optimax HE PLUS and Modena HE ranges. It directs heating water between the central heating circuit and the domestic hot water circuit. It is listed under Diverter Valve in the Gas Boiler Spares range.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Hot water is produced but the central heating does not heat the radiators, or the reverse.
- The boiler stays in hot water mode when the heating is called for.
- The boiler does not switch cleanly between heating and hot water demands.
- The boiler shows a fault code or fails to fire after a change in demand.
Before you order
- Confirm your boiler model against the fits list above, including the gas type (NG or LPG) for Modena models.
- Check the appliance model number and GC number on the data plate or in the boiler documentation.
- Compare the existing valve with the part number 39840730 or the alternative FER39840730.
