What it is
The Ferroli Fan Isolation Disc, part number 39830260, is a mounting component that sits between the fan assembly and its housing on Ferroli Energy TOP appliances. It isolates the fan from the surrounding casing, reducing the transfer of vibration and noise into the boiler body. It is listed for both domestic and commercial Energy TOP models.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Fan noise becoming noticeably louder or more intrusive in the boiler casing
- Vibration felt or heard through the appliance casing when the fan runs
- Visible hardening, cracking, flattening or perishing of the disc material
- Air leakage or whistling around the fan mounting area
- Fan assembly sitting unevenly or rattling against its housing
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance model against the fit list above, as Energy TOP W 80 appears under more than one product code
- Check the part number against the number shown for the existing component
- Verify whether the boiler is a domestic Energy TOP or a commercial Energy TOP B variant
- Confirm how many discs are required for the fan mounting on your appliance
