What it is
The Ferroli Condense Flue Seal 39829170 is an 80mm sealing component used on the condense flue assembly of Ferroli Econcept and Energy TOP boilers. It seals the flue joint to prevent condensate and flue gases escaping into the appliance casing or the room. It is a serviceable part and should be renewed whenever the flue joint is disturbed or the existing seal has deteriorated.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Condensate weeping or staining around the flue joint
- The seal is visibly perished, flattened, cracked or hardened
- Water marks or corrosion on the flue collar or surrounding casing
- Flue gases or condensate odour detected at the joint
- The seal has been disturbed during flue or heat exchanger work and will not reseat
