What it is
The Ferroli 39820610 is an ignition electrode used on Ferroli Arena gas boilers. It sits at the burner and provides the spark that lights the gas on a call for heat. The part supersedes the earlier Ferroli code 802610.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Boiler attempts to fire but there is no spark at the burner
- Repeated ignition lockouts or failed ignition attempts on a call for heat
- Visible cracking, erosion or heavy carbon build-up on the electrode tip or ceramic insulator
- Spark tracking or arcing to earth instead of across the ignition gap
- Boiler fires intermittently, with ignition becoming less reliable over time
