What it is
The Ferroli 39820442 is a complete diverter valve for Ferroli domestic boilers. It controls the flow of water between the central heating circuit and the domestic hot water circuit, switching the boiler between modes on demand. This part supersedes 151660.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Domestic hot water runs hot then cold, or the heating circuit warms when only hot water is drawn.
- No hot water or no central heating, even though the boiler fires.
- The valve fails to move between the heating and hot water positions.
- Water leaks from the valve body or actuator.
- Boiler lockout or a fault code linked to diverter valve position.

- Check the part number on the existing valve; 39820442 supersedes 151660.
- Confirm whether the complete valve or only the actuator head is required.
